Last weekend we went on an adventure out to the Jurong water park. For those of you unfamiliar with Singapore, Jurong is about as west as you can get here, and somewhere that we would never normally go to (I don’t think Darlene has ever been there before).
So we made the trek out there (ok its $11 in a taxi and 20 mins away – but it is the other side of the country!)
The place was pretty cool and has several slides, a wave pool, a whirl pool thing you float around in tubes, a spa type area and also a kids pool. Unfortunately the main kids pool area was closed for repairs so it was a bit unfortunate for Tay Tay.
Poor Tay was pretty tired that day and actually fell asleep on the whirlpool thing and spent half the time curled up in her pram.
Lachlan had a great time there swimming and going on the whirlpool and the big water slides and it was all about the kids ….ok ok Daddy also had a great time on the slides too, especially the turbo slide!
“I liked playing at the water park, I liked going down the pink slide – it was really cool,” said Lachlan.
“I can’t wait to go back again.”
And the best part is that it was $2 entry fee for adults and $1 for kids and Roby (old age discount).
All up a great time was had by all and its safe to say we will be back out to Jurong again soon.
